The Parkinson’s Awareness Association of Central Indiana, Inc. (PAACI) provides support for those with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) through education, exercise programs, advocacy, and research. PAACI seeks to be a place for those with PD, their families, friends, and caregivers to find friendship, understanding, and information.

This updated website is designed to make PAACI’s services, activities, and resources more accessible to all who are interested.

So, join in. Come to the monthly educational meetings. Stretch and laugh with others at one of the weekly exercise classes. Attend the annual symposium. Make connections with others dealing with PD. Become a part of the PAACI network.

**Special Notice to patients taking Neupro**
 Neupro patches are being recalled in the United States due to a manufacturing error and will not be available after the end of April 2008.  The issue is with the efficacy of the medication, not with safety.  Your doctor will instruct you on how to gradually come off Neupro, quitting 'cold turkey' is not advised.  Please consult your physician as soon as possible. Do not stop taking Neupro without first speaking with your doctor.
